Advantages of using Seesmic
A very known tool to manage out accounts on the different social networks is Seesmic, similar to Tweetdeck, offers desktop version and is available too for iPhone, Android and Blackberry. At the beginning Seesmic is more comfortable for reading because its background color is lighter and uses colors also as the element to differenciate between the kind of tweet it´s showing us, if is a Direct Message, a reply or whatever. Moreover, its using results more difficult than Tweetdeck.
Seesmic advantages allows us to create a column which focuses every tweet just sent, that´s very usefil for that people who interact with many users at the same time or mix things on a conversation. It clearer background with more spaces makes it cleaner and more visual. Another advantage is that add Klout data of every profile just with a click, a tool which calculates the social influence of every user on Twitter and offers a detailed report about the influence level giving a vote between 0 an 100 points calculated from 25 variables. Another advantage is the miniature shown when you share a picture, allowing the users to pinch or not on the link.
Inconvenients on using Seesmic
Refering to its disadvantages, les comodity when you retweet mentioning someone, there´s not a direct button even you´ve got to look for the option, so that makes slower this process. Another inconvenient is that when you open a user progile don´t concentrate all the information in the same window, separates the profile info and tweets, slowing down the acts. In this sense, allows to visualize sent tweets from a profile, but don´t let us to operate over them making a retweet, reply or sending a direct message. Does not inform of the hour or date which has been published tweets, a necessary information on the other hand.
